Touchdown for Tots Program Description

Empowering the Next Generation of Athletes

Get ready to score some fun and skills with our Touchdown for Tots program! This fun and energetic introduction to flag football designed specifically for preschool-aged athletes. We focus on movement, coordination, teamwork, and building confidence-all in a safe and encouraging environment. No previous experience necessary!

The Touchdown for Tots program is only available for children in Pre-Kindergarten and Young 5's (ages 3-5). We recommend all first-year players that are ages 4 & 5 to choose this option instead of the regular league.

Program Highlights:

Fundamentals First - Learn running, catching, throwing, and flag pulling through fun drills.
Mini Games - Age-appropriate games at the end of each session.
Skill Stations - Rotating every 10-12 minutes to keep energy high.
Team Time - Small groups led by supportive coaches.
Weekly Themes - Touchdown Dance Week, Jersey Day, and more.
End-of-Season Celebration - All players receive a championship ring!

Schedule at a Glance

Week 1: Get Moving - Movement, flag pulling, catching

Week 2: Let-s Play - Throwing, handoffs, teamwork

Week 3: Game Time - Routes, mock plays

Week 4: Celebration Week - Mini scrimmages and ring ceremony

Parent-Led Program Structure

Parent-Led Program Notice

This program is designed to be parent/volunteer-led with full structure, guidance, and support provided by Just Compete Sports. To ensure a safe and successful experience for all players, we require a minimum of two parent volunteers for every 10 participants. Parent coaches will receive a simple weekly game plan, access to support staff, and a clear layout of drills and activities. This model ensures a strong sense of community and makes it easy for families to engage while helping the kids have fun and learn the game!
